Day Five:
On January 20, 2015 I did a soft launch of the book. That just means I announced it to my friends and family and to facebook that we are now live on Amazon and the book is ready for purchase.
Since then I think I sold five or so. The sales tracking on Amazon runs a week later even though they update book ranking every hour in relation to other books in same category. So I won’t really know how many I sold this week until next week.
I have learned a lot about sales and rankings and reviews and this is all good information for me as a publisher that is collecting data for up and coming authors who may want to publish through Croft Regis Publishing.
The main thing is to propel Trankarri to a high ranking on Amazon with sales and reviews all other things are non-essentials at this point. So many other authors are just not doing that.
